Parks and Greenways

All towns remind people to use appropriate social distancing of 6 feet between individuals when using the parks and greenways. Do not congregate in groups of 10 or more. Some playground facilities may be closed, others request that you use good judgment. Wash your hands before and after touching surfaces within the parks. Stay home if you are sick.

As of March 19, 2020, the following towns confirmed their parks and greenways are open.

  • Town of Cornelius Parks and Greenways
  • Town of Mooresville Parks and Greenways
  • Town of Davidson Parks and Greenways
  • Town of Troutman Parks and Greenways
  • Town of Huntersville Parks and Greenways
  • Mecklenburg County Parks and Greenways

Operation Feed Lake Norman

It’s the weekend and you can still pick up a delicious meal from any of the great restaurants in the Lake Norman region. Bill Russell, President of the Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce has coordinated a list of all Lake Norman Chamber restaurant members with their current status (open or closed). Restaurants that are open are listed with their telephone numbers and whether you pick up or get your meal delivered.

Curbside/Drive-Thru/To Go/Delivered

Many restaurants prefer that you call ahead and place your order. Curbside means you can pick up your meal by driving up to the restaurant at the curb. Drive-Thru is the traditional fast-food drive up, place your order, and pick it up at the window. To Go is usually where you step inside the restaurant and pick up your order. Delivered is being performed by restaurants and delivery services.
