I sat down with Crystal Keatts, Managing Partner of Firebirds of Huntersville to talk about Lemonade Days this weekend.

Firebirds began partnering with Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation in 2012, donating $1.25 from each Alex’s Lemonade sale to fight childhood cancer, totaling over $3,000,000 donated.

Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation has raised over $250 million for childhood cancer research since 2000, funding 200 projects in 80 pediatric cancer hospitals in the US.

Firebirds supports ALSF as their National Charity, donating proceeds from each Alex’s Lemonade sold.

Where to Find The Stands This Weekend

Firebirds Wood Fired Grill is located at 16641 Birkdale Commons Parkway, Huntersville and if you can’t make it by the restaurant this weekend, you can make a donation online.

Birkdale Village is partnering with Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation for the second consecutive year. You can find Alex’s Lemonade Stand near the Plaza in the center of all of the weekend activities at Birkdale Village.

Local treasure and Biker Bar, In The Wind, will set up their Alex’s Lemonade Stand on Sunday, June 9th from 12-5:30pm. They have a special drink menu waiting to help raise donations for ALSF.
