RB Isiah Pacheco of the Kansas City Chiefs has been placed on injured reserve and is expected to miss six-to-eight weeks. Clyde Edwards-Helaire is the number two RB but he is also currently injured. This means rookie Carson Steele and veteran Samaje Perine will share the running back duties. However, Kareem Hunt, a former Chiefs star RB, might be signed. Monitor this situation.
RB Joe Mixon was injured in the Houston Texans game. He did return to action but left again. The number two RB is Dameon Pierce but he is also injured and has been ineffective. Therefore, keep an eye on RB Cam Akers. He looked good during the preseason and in limited action on Sunday although he did lose a fumble.
The Carolina Panthers have been awful this season. The team has announced that they are benching second year QB Bryce Young and starting veteran Andy Dalton.
Passing numbers are significantly down this season. This is primarily due to a plethora of injuries to WRs and ineffective QB play. On the other hand, rushing numbers are up.

New England Patriots (+3.5) at New York Jets
This should be a low scoring slugfest. The Patriots have been playing well so take the points.
Kansas City Chiefs (-2.5) at Atlanta Falcons
The Falcons should never have won against the Eagles. The Chiefs are not the Eagles. They know how to play defense.
Buffalo Bills (-3.5) vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
The Bills are coming home after destroying the Miami Dolphins. The Jaguars offense can’t get anything going.
