There are only two more weeks before most fantasy league playoffs begin. There are no byes in week 13 so you should be able to set your lineup with your best players who have produced for you all season. The only lineup challenge you may face is if you have an injured player or a potential starting player in a fluid situation on his team. For example, as I stated last week, be cautious of the Denver Broncos running back situation. Coach Sean Payton has gone from Javonte Williams to Audric Estime back to Javonte Williams and then in week 12 Jaleel McLaughlin was the lead back. Stay away from this mess.
RB Jonathan Brooks was active and played for the Carolina Panthers in week 12. He only carried the ball twice for seven yards and had zero receptions. RB Chuba Hubbard continued to be the lead RB and had a decent game against the Kansas City Chiefs with 60 scrimmage yards and a TD. I expect Hubbard to continue as the lead RB, but it would not be surprising for Brooks to see more action each week.
RB J.K. Dobbins was injured in the Los Angeles Chargers loss against the Baltimore Ravens. Gus Edwards, who recently returned from an injury, figures to get most of the carries if Dobbins is out against the Atlanta Falcons. Edwards is worth starting if you are hurting at the RB position.
Other than TE Brock Bowers, there are not too many Las Vegas Raiders in anyone’s starting lineup. With QB Gardner Minshew out for the season with a broken collarbone, Aidan O’Connell is set to be the starting QB. This should have a minimum impact on Brock Bowers since he is an outstanding safety valve for whomever is the QB.
QB Anthony Richardson of the Indianapolis Colts reverted to his inconsistent ways in week 12. After having a very respectable game against the New York Jets in week 11, he struggled in week 12 at home against the Detroit Lions. Richardson completed only 39% of his passes for less than 200 yards but did run for 61 yards. The Lions have a much better defense than the Jets so playing Richardson may be matchup dependent. This week the Colts travel to New England to play the Patriots so he may be a viable starter this week.

Week 12 Record: 1 – 2 Season Record: 17 – 19
Green Bay Packers (-3.0) vs. Miami Dolphins
The Dolphins have been playing extremely well since the return of QB Tua Tagovailoa and have won three straight although against lesser opponents. The Packers have won 6 of their past 7 games with their only loss to the Detroit Lions. The game time temperature in Green Bay is expected to be 26 degrees. The Dolphins are 0 – 12 in games when the kickoff temperature was below 42 degrees. Take the home team and give the points.
Buffalo Bills (-7.0) vs. San Francisco 49ers
Seven points is a lot, but the 49ers are hurt by injuries on both sides of the ball. Without QB Brock Purdy they look like a different team. The Bills are playing solid football and are coming off a bye week. I like QB Josh Allen in this spot. Assuming Purdy does not play, take the Bills minus the points.
Denver Broncos (-5.5) vs. Cleveland Browns
The Cleveland Browns are an enigma. They beat both the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers at home but got blown out by the Saints in New Orleans. The Browns play differently when at home against a division rival or when on the road. The Broncos’ defense is solid and QB Bo Nix is playing great. Take another home team and give the points.
