Fantasy Football Article: 2025 – 2026 Season Week 11

There are only four weeks remaining before the fantasy football playoffs start.  You should have a good understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of your roster.  Keep an eye on the waiver wire for any potential help.  Owners still need to navigate bye weeks, which continue through week 14, so there may be some surprise drops.  When evaluating potential pickups, don’t just look at how a player can help in the regular season but also look at the playoff schedule.  If you haven’t already done so, handcuff your best running back with his backup.

Congratulations to fantasy owners who drafted RB TreVeyon Henderson and kept him on your roster waiting for his breakout game.  Hopefully, he was in your lineup in week 10 as he exploded for two long touchdown runs and didn’t have to compete with Rhamondre Stevenson for touches.  Even when Stevenson returns from injury, Coach Mike Vrabel needs to continue using Henderson because of the explosiveness he provides.  One disturbing thing I noticed in the game against Tampa Bay was that Henderson was taken out of the game when the Patriots had first and goal inside the five-yard line and the carry was given to D’Ernest Johnson who was just activated off of the practice squad.  This implies that Stevenson will continue to vulture short touchdown runs.

The practice window has opened for Cincinnati QB Joe Burrow.  He hopes to return to action in week 13 on Thanksgiving Day when the Bengals play the Baltimore Ravens.

Week 9 Record:  2 – 1 Season Record:  18 – 12

Week 11 Selections vs. the Point Spread

New England Patriots (-11.0) vs. New York Jets

Eleven points is a lot to give to any team.  The Jets will be without their top WR and their next best player is RB Breece Hall; however, the Patriots’ defense is tough against the run.  QB Drake Maye has the Patriots offense cooking so take the home team and give the points.

Detroit Lions (+1.5) at Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles just won a low scoring road game against a very good Green Bay Packers defense.  Can the Eagles score enough points to keep up with the Lions offense?  Head coach Dan Campbell assumed play calling duties in week 10 and the Lions put up 44 points.  Lions QB Jared Goff can be uneven on the road but the RB combination of Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery can offset a poor passing outing by Goff.  Take the visitors with the points.

Dallas Cowboys (-3.5) at Las Vegas Raiders

The Cowboys offense can definitely put up the points so it’s a question of their defense.  With recent trade acquisitions, the Cowboys should be able to contain the run and focus on stopping TE Brock Bowers.  Assuming the Cowboys stop Bowers and contain RB Ashton Jeanty, the Raiders are out of options to beat the Cowboys defense.  Take the Cowboys and give the points to the home team.
