LKNConnect Operating System: Appendix G – Growth Spiral Recommendation & Client Enrollment Process

LKNConnect Operating System

From Visibility Analysis to the Right Strategic Investment

PURPOSE

Appendix G establishes the standard LKNConnect process for converting the findings of the Client Qualification & Visibility Audit System into an appropriate visibility recommendation and client enrollment decision.

Appendix F answered:

Where is the business today?

Appendix G answers:

What should the business do next?

The purpose of this process is not to automatically place every prospective client into the largest or most expensive LKNConnect program.

The purpose is to use the information already gathered to identify the next logical visibility investment for that particular business.

The process combines:

Visibility Audit™ Results

Objective Visibility Analysis

Business Goals

Current Marketing

Operational Readiness

Available Budget

The LKNConnect 7-Step Growth Spiral™

The guiding principle is:

Diagnose before prescribing.

Recommend before selling.

Help the client select the right next step.

G.1 — ENTRY INTO THE RECOMMENDATION PROCESS

A prospective client should normally enter the Growth Spiral™ Recommendation Process after completing the major elements of Appendix F.

The Visibility Strategist should have a reasonable understanding of:

  • The business
  • Leadership
  • Products and services
  • Target audience
  • Geographic market
  • Current marketing
  • Current visibility
  • Internal sales/follow-up systems
  • Business goals
  • Marketing budget
  • Visibility Audit™ results
  • Objective Visibility Analysis
  • Major visibility strengths
  • Major visibility gaps

The Strategist should not recommend a program simply because the prospect has expressed interest.

The recommendation should be based upon what has been learned.

G.2 — THE PURPOSE OF THE 7-STEP GROWTH SPIRAL™

The LKNConnect 7-Step Growth Spiral™ provides a progressive roadmap for increasing a business’s:

Visibility

Recognition

Credibility

Community Connection

Authority

Top-of-Mind Awareness

The Growth Spiral™ is designed as a progression rather than a collection of unrelated advertising products.

Each step represents a different level of visibility development.

Businesses do not necessarily need to begin at Step 1.

A company may already possess many of the visibility assets represented by the earlier steps.

The Strategist’s responsibility is to determine:

Where does this business logically enter the Spiral?

G.3 — THE GROWTH SPIRAL™ IS NOT A LADDER THAT MUST BE CLIMBED ONE STEP AT A TIME

The seven steps provide a strategic framework.

They are not rigid prerequisites.

A new or less visible business may appropriately begin with foundational visibility.

An established company with strong existing visibility may enter at a higher level.

A company with a specific immediate objective may also require a different entry point.

The recommendation should reflect the company’s actual position rather than mechanically starting every client at the same level.

G.4 — STEP 1: BE FOUND

Publisher’s Recommended Listing™

Current Reference Investment: $75/month

Step 1 is designed for businesses that need to establish or strengthen their foundational presence within the LKNConnect ecosystem.

Typical elements may include:

  • Business directory presence
  • Core business information
  • Business description
  • Contact information
  • Town placement
  • Category placement
  • Basic ecosystem visibility

Appropriate For

A business that:

  • Needs foundational visibility
  • Has limited LKNConnect presence
  • Wants an affordable starting point
  • Needs stronger local/category discoverability
  • Is not yet ready for a larger visibility program

Strategic Objective

Establish presence.

Before a business can become recognized, it must first be consistently findable.

G.5 — STEP 2: BUILD YOUR BRAND

Enhanced Business Profile™

Step 2 builds upon basic presence by creating a stronger and more professional business presentation.

Typical elements may include:

  • Needs a more credible digital presentation
  • Is ready to move beyond a basic listing

Strategic Objective

Move from being listed to being recognized.

G.10 — STEP 7: OWN THE MIND. OWN THE MARKET.™

Top-of-Mind Authority™ Partnership

  • Has leadership willing to participate
  • Understands that authority is built through consistency
  • Wants to become one of the first names consumers think of within its category

Strategic Objective

Own the Mind. Own the Market.™

Top-of-Mind Authority is created when visibility, credibility, repetition, leadership, storytelling, and community connection work together over time.

G.11 — CURRENT PRICING IS A REFERENCE STANDARD

The Growth Spiral™ investment amounts contained in this Appendix reflect current reference pricing.

LKNConnect may revise:

  • Pricing
  • Deliverables
  • Packaging
  • Program names
  • Promotional frequency
  • Availability

as market conditions, production costs, technology, and business strategy evolve.

The current approved pricing schedule should always control the actual client proposal.

Visibility Strategists may not independently alter approved pricing.

G.12 — DEVELOPING THE RECOMMENDATION

The Visibility Strategist should consider the entire business picture.

The recommendation should take into account:

Visibility Audit™

What does the business believe about its current visibility?

Objective Visibility Analysis

What does the marketplace evidence indicate?

Business Goals

What is the company trying to accomplish?

Current Marketing

What is already being done?

Existing Visibility Assets

What does the company already possess that can be leveraged?

Visibility Gaps

Where is the business difficult to discover, understand, trust, or remember?

Operational Readiness

Can the business handle increased opportunity?

Leadership Participation

Is the owner or leadership team prepared to participate?

Budget

What level of sustained investment is realistic?

The recommendation should emerge from these factors.

G.13 — RECOMMEND THE NEXT LOGICAL STEP

The Strategist should explain the recommendation in terms the business owner can understand.

The conversation should connect:

What we learned

to

What we recommend

to

Why we believe it is the appropriate next step.

For example:

A business with good search visibility but little leadership recognition may need storytelling and owner visibility more than another directory listing.

A business with a strong brand but weak local category presence may benefit from category positioning.

A business already well established across multiple channels may be ready for an authority-building strategy.

The recommendation should solve an identifiable visibility problem.

G.14 — DO NOT AUTOMATICALLY RECOMMEND THE HIGHEST LEVEL

The objective is not to maximize the first sale.

The objective is to create a sustainable client relationship.

Placing a business into a program that:

  • Exceeds its budget
  • Exceeds its operational capacity
  • Requires participation it cannot provide
  • Does not address its actual visibility gap

creates unnecessary risk for both the client and LKNConnect.

A smaller appropriate client can grow.

An over-sold client may leave.

G.15 — EXPLAIN THE RECOMMENDATION

The Strategist should be prepared to answer:

Why this level?

What visibility problem does it address?

What will LKNConnect provide?

What will the client need to provide?

What is the investment?

What should the client reasonably expect?

What is not guaranteed?

How will we evaluate progress?

Clarity before enrollment reduces misunderstandings after enrollment.

G.16 — CLIENT CHOICE

The Growth Spiral™ recommendation is advisory.

The business ultimately decides:

  • Whether to participate
  • Which approved level to select
  • Which optional services to add
  • When to begin

A client may select a different approved level than the Strategist recommends.

When that occurs, the Strategist should document the client’s selection and ensure that the client understands the differences.

G.17 — WHEN A CLIENT CHOOSES A LOWER LEVEL

A client may understand the recommendation but choose a lower-cost entry point.

That may be appropriate.

The Strategist should determine whether the selected program can still provide legitimate value.

If yes, the relationship may proceed.

The Strategist should not shame or pressure the client for choosing a smaller investment.

A successful Step 1 or Step 2 relationship may become a Step 5, Step 6, or Step 7 relationship later.

G.18 — WHEN A CLIENT WANTS A HIGHER LEVEL

A client may request a higher level than the Strategist recommends.

Before accepting the enrollment, the Strategist should determine whether:

  • The business can support the investment.
  • The business has the necessary assets.
  • Leadership will participate.
  • LKNConnect has production capacity.
  • The program is appropriate.
  • Expectations are realistic.

LKNConnect is not obligated to sell a program simply because the client is willing to pay for it.

The program must still make strategic and operational sense.

G.19 — OPTIONAL VISIBILITY ENHANCERS

Some businesses may benefit from additional visibility beyond their selected Growth Spiral™ level.

Current reference options may include:

Expert Column

Current Reference Investment: $250/month

Front Page Feature Block

Current Reference Investment: $350/month

Front Page Banner

Current Reference Investment: $500/month

Newsletter Sponsorship

Current Reference Investment: $195/month

Optional services should address an identifiable objective.

They should not be added simply to increase the invoice.

G.20 — STRATEGIC PARTNER SERVICES

Some visibility gaps require capabilities outside LKNConnect’s direct core services.

When appropriate, LKNConnect may introduce or coordinate approved strategic partners.

Potential services may include:

Professional Videography

Business videos, interviews, promotional videos, and business storytelling.

Professional Photography

Business, owner, team, location, product, and branding photography.

Social Media Management

Ongoing external social media support.

Marketing Coaching & Consulting

Strategic business-development and marketing assistance.

CRM & Growth Systems

Lead management, follow-up, customer tracking, and pipeline systems.

Automation

Lead tracking, scheduling, email follow-up, text follow-up, dashboards, workflow automation, and related systems.

Strategic partner services should be recommended because the business needs them—not because LKNConnect has access to a partner.

G.21 — STRATEGIC PARTNER PRICING

Strategic partner services may be priced separately from LKNConnect Visibility Programs.

Current reference ranges may be maintained through a separate approved pricing schedule.

Where a custom quote is required, the Visibility Strategist should not estimate or promise a final price without authorization.

The appropriate partner or LKNConnect representative should provide the approved quote.

G.22 — DISCOUNTS & SPECIAL TERMS

Visibility Strategists may not independently create:

  • Discounts
  • Free months
  • Additional deliverables
  • Special pricing
  • Extended payment terms
  • Custom production commitments

unless specifically authorized by LKNConnect.

Approved exceptions should be documented.

Verbal exceptions create fulfillment problems and should be avoided.

G.23 — WHAT LKNCONNECT MAY PROMISE

The Strategist may describe approved program deliverables and the visibility opportunities associated with them.

The Strategist may discuss:

  • Placement
  • Content
  • Promotion
  • Program association
  • Visibility frequency
  • Approved deliverables
  • Strategic objectives

The Strategist should clearly distinguish between:

What LKNConnect will do

and

What the marketplace may do in response.

G.24 — RESULTS THAT CANNOT BE GUARANTEED

LKNConnect cannot guarantee:

  • A specific number of customers
  • A specific number of leads
  • A specific number of sales
  • A specific revenue increase
  • Search-engine ranking
  • Social media reach
  • Viral performance
  • Specific view counts
  • Specific engagement
  • Business profitability

Visibility creates opportunity.

The client’s:

  • Product
  • Pricing
  • Reputation
  • Sales process
  • Customer service
  • Follow-up
  • Market conditions
  • Competition

also influence business results.

G.25 — ENROLLMENT DECISION

When the client is ready to proceed, the Strategist should confirm:

Selected Growth Spiral™ Level

Optional Services

Strategic Partner Services

Monthly Investment

One-Time Investment

Proposed Start Date

Any Approved Special Terms

Primary Business Contact

Billing Contact

At this point, the sales recommendation becomes an enrollment decision.

G.26 — ENROLLMENT IS NOT YET ONBOARDING

A client saying:

“Yes, let’s do it.”

is an important milestone.

It is not the completion of the process.

Before production begins, LKNConnect still needs:

  • Complete business information
  • Required assets
  • Final service selections
  • Payment arrangements
  • Signatures
  • Fulfillment instructions
  • CRM record
  • Operations assignment

Those steps are governed by:

APPENDIX H — CLIENT ONBOARDING, FULFILLMENT HANDOFF & OPERATING FORMS

G.27 — VISIBILITY STRATEGIST RESPONSIBILITIES

During the Growth Spiral™ Recommendation & Enrollment Process, the Visibility Strategist is responsible for:

  • Reviewing Appendix F findings
  • Understanding the client’s goals
  • Identifying the major visibility gaps
  • Identifying existing visibility strengths
  • Determining an appropriate Growth Spiral™ entry point
  • Explaining the recommendation
  • Explaining approved deliverables
  • Explaining investment
  • Discussing appropriate optional services
  • Identifying potential Strategic Partner needs
  • Answering reasonable questions
  • Avoiding unauthorized promises
  • Confirming the client’s selection
  • Documenting special approved terms
  • Preparing the relationship for onboarding

The Strategist should operate as an advisor—not simply an order taker.

G.28 — RECOMMENDATION RECORD

The client record should identify:

  • Visibility Audit™ results
  • Objective Visibility Analysis
  • Major strengths
  • Major gaps
  • Client goals
  • Recommended Growth Spiral™ level
  • Reason for recommendation
  • Client-selected level
  • Optional services selected
  • Strategic Partner services requested
  • Monthly investment
  • One-time investment
  • Approved special terms
  • Proposed start date
  • Strategist

This creates a clear bridge between the assessment and the final order.

G.30 — WHEN THE CLIENT SAYS “NOT YET”

A qualified prospect who does not enroll immediately should not automatically be considered lost.

The Strategist should determine why.

Possible reasons may include:

  • Timing
  • Budget
  • Internal changes
  • Seasonal considerations
  • Need for another decision-maker
  • Existing marketing commitments
  • Operational capacity
  • Additional questions

When appropriate, the Strategist should establish a specific follow-up date.

CRM records should reflect the status accurately.

G.31 — CLIENT EXPERIENCE STANDARD

At the end of the recommendation process, the prospective client should understand:

Where the business appears to be today.

What LKNConnect recommends.

Why that recommendation was made.

What the program includes.

What it costs.

What the client must contribute.

What LKNConnect can and cannot guarantee.

What happens next.

A well-informed client is more likely to become a successful long-term client.

G.32 — SUCCESS MEASURES

An effective Growth Spiral™ Recommendation & Enrollment Process should result in:

  • Recommendations tied to actual business needs
  • Appropriate Growth Spiral™ placement
  • Greater client understanding
  • Fewer pricing misunderstandings
  • Fewer unauthorized promises
  • Better-quality clients
  • Better conversion of qualified prospects
  • Stronger client retention
  • Greater recurring revenue
  • Logical client upgrades over time
  • Improved profitability
  • Cleaner handoff to onboarding

The objective is not simply:

Sell more.

The objective is:

Recommend better, enroll appropriately, and build relationships that can grow.

G.33 — SYSTEM OWNERSHIP

The CEO establishes the strategic structure, positioning, and philosophy of the Growth Spiral™.

The COO helps ensure that the recommendation and enrollment process is documented, measured, followed, and financially sustainable.

Visibility Strategists execute the recommendation and enrollment process.

Operations should not be required to reinterpret what was sold.

Current pricing, program deliverables, and approved terms should be maintained in accessible LKNConnect operating records.

G.34 — RELATIONSHIP TO APPENDIX F & APPENDIX H

The three client-development Appendices operate as one continuous system.

APPENDIX F

Client Qualification & Visibility Audit System

Determines:

Where is the business now?

APPENDIX G

Growth Spiral™ Recommendation & Client Enrollment Process

Determines:

What should the business do next?

APPENDIX H

Client Onboarding, Fulfillment Handoff & Operating Forms

Determines:

The client said yes. How do we deliver what we promised?

Together they create the complete LKNConnect path from prospect to active Visibility Client.

G.35 — GUIDING PRINCIPLE

The LKNConnect Growth Spiral™ is not intended to be a menu from which a salesperson simply selects the most expensive product.

It is a strategic roadmap.

The Visibility Audit™ tells us what the business believes.

The Objective Visibility Analysis tells us what the marketplace can see.

The business tells us where it wants to go.

The Growth Spiral™ helps identify the next logical step.

The Visibility Strategist explains the recommendation.

The client makes the decision.

And when the client says yes, LKNConnect documents the commitment and prepares to deliver.

Ultimately:

We do not measure the quality of a recommendation by how much we sold today.

We measure it by whether we helped the client make the right visibility investment — and created a relationship capable of growing tomorrow.
