The Clues Within – The Body Knows – With Julie Jetzer

Welcome Julie Jetzer - The Clues Within - The Body Knows

Welcome to the LKNConnect TEAM — Julie Jetzer

Meet the Woman Behind The Clues Within – The Body Knows

One of the things we’ve learned at LKNConnect is that every one of our contributors has a story worth sharing.

Julie Jetzer is no different.

Julie’s story didn’t begin in health and wellness. In fact, it began about as far away from it as you might imagine.

Julie was an accountant.

Then her own body began giving her clues that something wasn’t right.

She was a young mother, helping with the family business and trying to keep up with everyday life. But Julie was exhausted, experiencing migraines and feeling an unusual firmness in her abdomen.

When the first explanation didn’t seem right, Julie kept asking questions.

Eventually, an ultrasound revealed a large ovarian cyst. Surgery followed, along with the discovery of a serious bacterial infection.

It was a frightening experience—and one that changed the direction of Julie’s life.

She had listened when her body was telling her something wasn’t right. And she never forgot it.

The Question That Changed Everything

As Julie began exploring health and wellness, one question kept coming back:

Why?

Why does something hurt? Why isn’t something working the way it should? Could the place where we’re experiencing a symptom be different from where the problem actually began?

Julie became a personal trainer and developed Corrective Core Method, specializing in core and pelvic-floor issues. Her curiosity eventually led to massage school and advanced training involving lymphatic work, fascia, craniosacral therapy and visceral manipulation.

Today, Julie is the founder of TLC Wellness in Lake Norman, where she continues to look beyond simply asking:

“What hurts?”

Julie wants to know:

“Why?”

Coming Next Monday to LKNConnect

Beginning next Monday, Julie joins our regular lineup of contributors with:

The Clues Within – The Body Knows

Listen Within. Notice Clues. Know More.

Each installment will begin with something many of us have experienced—a symptom, sensation or change.

Julie and the health and wellness professionals she talks with will follow those clues, look beyond the obvious and help us think about the questions we might want to ask.

It’s not about diagnosing ourselves.

It’s about paying attention, becoming curious and asking better questions.

Think of it as a little bit of a whodunit—

with your body providing the clues.

But First — Meet Julie

Before The Clues Within begins next Monday, we invite you to meet Julie through her conversation with Trina Finch on What’s Next.

Julie shares the health experience that changed her life, the journey that followed and how an accountant eventually found herself pursuing a completely different calling.

Near the end, Trina asks Julie what one thing she would want people to remember.

Julie’s answer is simple:

“It’s not too late to begin.”

We think that’s a pretty good way to begin a new chapter, too.

Julie, welcome to the LKNConnect TEAM. We’re glad you’re here.

And to our readers—

Come back next Monday. Julie has a clue for us
