Labor Day weekend brings three days of live music around Lake Norman, and Colin Furcht has five standout shows for your calendar. Friday features Euphonic with young opening band High Maintenance at 158 on Main, Uncanny at Mica’s and Simplified at Boatyard. On Saturday, catch Even Flow at Harp & Crown and Rocky Lynne at 158 on Main. Colin also shares an important Rock the Lake 3 update, including ticket information and support for 24 Foundation.
Colin Furcht is a long-time Lake Norman local and current Cornelius Town Commissioner who has also become one of the region’s most trusted live‑music authorities. From town hall to backstage, he’s just as comfortable grilling policy as he is talking set lists with bands and venue owners. As the host of LKN Live Music Scene and Colin’s Back Stage Pass on LKNConnect, Colin spotlights the area’s hottest acts, must‑play stages, and can’t‑miss weekends—calling it like he sees it and dragging Lake Norman out of the house one killer show at a time.
