He is a small terrier mix around 2 years old. He may take a little while to warm up to new people, but once he does you will have a friend for life! He loves to curl up in your lap or on his bed after a nice long walk. Once Axe feels comfortable his true colors show and you will see him throwing toys around and offering up lots of love. If you would like to meet Axe please stop by Lake Norman Humane during business hours. We will have adoption counselors ready to assist you!

Lake Norman Humane is moving away from applications and appointments. Folks interested in adopting are encouraged to visit the shelter Monday – Friday, 10 am – 4 pm  or email [email protected] with questions.
