I had the Pleasure of Meeting Obray Cowan on the Joe Vagnone, WSIC Radio Show – Local Biz Now!

From Left to Right-Margi Kyle, Joe Vagnone, Maria Kemp and
Obray Cowan. WSIC Radio!

Obray Cowan is a fascinating young man who loves the mission of helping children during difficult times. He immediately connected with Little Smiles. He offered Little Smiles some of his original coloring books and backpacks.

Obray, an artist his entire life, graduated from High School as a member of The National Art Honors Society. He then earned his Degree in Animation and Film, from The Acclaimed Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida. While a student at Full Sail, Obray also learned the craft of Tattooing.

“The inspiration and will to help and serve others came to me naturally. As I watched my parents serve within their own Philanthropic pursuits. My book, “Coloring With Art by O Gallery“, came during a time when we all needed a break in 2020. I saw the Opportunity to add to the world and relieve stress through art, which aided me. And through that, it became best seller.”

Adding – Author to his list of accomplishments, The Birth of his Daughter August Ilani Cowan., inspired, “Bee Yourself.”

“Bee Yourself” by Obray Cowan

Reading to her and seeing all of the books in her library motivated him to want to contribute to the lives of children who are indeed the future of our generation. “Benny” The main Bee — represents us all. The Inner Child that is curious and wants to explore and see new things. Routine and overall life can often get in the way and make us forget about our dreams. Obray felt it was so important to keep his dreams alive and trust the path to follow the road less traveled! He is a testament to this mission.

He was featured in “Forbes”, “Disrupt”, “Ocean Drive”, “Future Sharks”, “The Daily Front-Fashion Week Daily”, “Bloomberg” and many other publications last year. He has also given a case of books to Little Smiles for me to give to the nurses and kids who we serve. Obray says the last 6 pages are pictures in black and white. They are for the kids to color and dream about their future. Brilliant!

It will become available on April 7th in stores, Amazon, Barnes and Noble, etc. A great learning experience for any and all children.

I will have to go back and put my singature on his wall somewhere! It’s a pleasure to know this fine young man.
