Breaking News – Holiday Farm Camps

1 min read

Let me brag a little about my daughter.

It is a wonderful feeling when you see someone pursue their passion and dreams. My daughter, Kelly West, wanted to share how she grew up on the farm with others and created Rowdy Acres Farmstead. She is helping kids create lasting memories.

Meet Kelly’s miniature cows, Izzy and Mike.

Introducing Rowdy Acres Farmstead

Throughout the past year Rowdy Acres Farmstead, located at 6111 Gilead Road, Huntersville, NC, started conducting weeklong and single day farm camps. In addition, Kelly has offered rental opportunities for other events, using the Ballfield and Party Barn. These include, but are not limited to, birthday parties, company gatherings, church dinners, weddings, etc.

Breaking News for the Holidays

Kelly held several successful camps this past summer. (See pics below showing kids experiencing farm life) Plans are underway for more camps in 2024. The breaking news is she is planning to have several Holiday Day Camps during the winter break.

You can rent the Party Barn for your event.

Let’s look at some of the pictures from the summer camps.

Here is her recent announcement on the Rowdy Acres Farmstead Facebook page.

“I am so excited to be adding a few Farm Camps over Christmas break at Rowdy Acres Farmstead Hayrides, campfires, crafts, farm animals, and more! Our animals don’t take the winter off so why should we! Come join us for some holiday farm fun

What others are saying about Rowdy Acres Farmstead

Let’s hear some of the comments about Rowdy Acres Farmstead

Review from Amanda – Whether it’s raising her kids or raising her animals, Kelly is passionate about life on the farm. I highly recommend a visit – you’ll want to schedule your next event or be part of a camp! Once you experience farm livin’ (with a healthy dose of fun & games mixed in) at Rowdy Acres, you’ll be hooked!

Review from Julie – Our 8-year-old son attended farm camp at Rowdy Acres this week and had a blast! The weather was rainy, but Kelly, the owner, came up with a ton of creative activities to keep the kids moving and engaged. Our son was packed and ready to go on his own every day! Thanks for making a grey week of rain exciting! See the following flyer for information about the camp and registration details.
