Bare Skin Beauty Studio was created to be a judgement-free zone and a space for you to feel comfortable in the skin you are in. We accept clients from all walks of life including clients who live and struggle with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS), and Eczema, as well as members of the LGBTQ community.
Hi, my name is Latavea, but I often go by Tay. I was born and raised in Miami, Florida, and moved to Charlotte, North Carolina 16 years ago. As a child, I developed acne in elementary school and continued to struggle with acne through my early 20s. I can honestly say there is a time in my life for which I have no pictures due to the shame I had from my horrible acnes bumps and scars. After almost two decades as a Paralegal, I decided to go to school to become an Esthetician. While in school, although my intention was to be a “master facialist”, I fell in love with waxing and it took off from there for me. As an Esthetician, I enjoy making my clients feel comfortable with the waxing process and educating them as we work to develop a proper pre and post-wax skincare regimen. From Website – see below
