Join the Town of Cornelius and American Legion Post 86 for this year’s Virtual Veterans Day Celebration, starting at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 11. This family-friendly program honors military veterans and those currently serving in our Armed Forces. American Legion Post 86 Commander Gene McKinney will lead a ceremony including recognition of military branches, a special performance by country music artist and Army veteran, Rockie Lynne, and a twenty-one-gun salute.
The ceremony will be closed to the general public. However, the event will be presented via livestream for everyone to enjoy! Visit the PARC’s Facebook Page (@CorneliusPARC) or the Town’s YouTube Channel from a phone, computer or connected TV.
