There’s something for everyone and every season!

Many people have seen the quaint little white house with the green tin roof that’s right next to Cornelius Elementary School. There’s always something pretty on the porch no matter what the season. That said, you should stop in to see what’s new, find a great gift, decorate your home with extraordinary pieces, or simply be “inspired” by this Cornelius hidden treasure.

Whether it’s Halloween, Thanksgiving, or Christmas, there are unique decorations to be found at Inspired. In the summertime, there are great pieces for your garden from pots to wind ornaments. Most of the year, you can find marvelous Lake Norman and North Carolina souvenirs.

There are beautiful dinnerware and serving bowls for entertaining. Whether you call them tea towels or dish towels, the animal print textiles will bring a smile to your face. Inspired by the community of Cornelius

Inspired was founded by the husband and wife team of Mark and Georgia Ferguson. They found inspiration when they landed in Cornelius and want to share their joy with you by offering unique gifts, jewelry, housewares, cards, stationery, paper goods, and original artwork — many of their items were created by local artists or made in the U.S.A.

I am an avid letter writer. It brings me such joy to write with a good pen on elegant paper. Inspired is the place I go for beautiful stationery, funny or sentimental cards, an inspirational notepad or funny grocery list.

Jewelry and purses

I love a dramatic look whether it’s for a casual lunch with girlfriends or a date with my husband. Their handcrafted jewelry is spectacular. And literally, I have never seen a purse made from cork fabric. Wow!

Great gifts for men, too!

Inspired is not just for women. There is an excellent selection of gifts for your favorite guy. Jewelry, soaps, golf themed items, and some great kits/bags for traveling.

And then there’s the art …

If you have ever felt at a loss when decorating your home, Inspired sets up artwork and artistic items to give you a complete decorating idea.
