Huntersville Field of Honor® 9.11 Memorial
September Now – September 22, 2020
Veteran’s Park
201 Huntersville-Concord Rd, Huntersville
Time: All Day
Description:
Over one hundred U.S. flags will stand in solemn formation at Veterans Park (201 Huntersville-Concord Road., Huntersville) from September 8, 2020 through September 22, 2020 as a memorial to the victims of the 9/11 terrorist attacks of 2001. This stirring display will bring the community together so that adults may remember and youth may learn.
It is an experience hard to describe, but never to be forgotten. We invite all to visit the Huntersville Field of Honor® 9.11 Memorial Event display and walk with us among the posted flags. We encourage you to share your story in the event discussion on our Facebook page to further honor any loved ones lost. The display is open to all without charge. Don’t miss it!
