Last week, we had a sneak peek of McDowell Creek Greenway Phase II. It’s the newest gem on the series of greenways called the Cornelius Emerald Necklace. When completed the greenways will circle Cornelius providing a greenway experience of 13 miles. For more information on greenways and trails, click here.
Construction has just begun on this gem of a greenway located on Magnolia Estates Drive in Cornelius and is expected to be completed this Winter 2021. Magnolia Estates Drive is a quiet street across from the Publix shopping center. It is currently not open to the public, but you can walk on the sidewalk to view the entrance.
