Mother’s Day Delight – Coming from the kitchen of Debbie Amyotte!

Every year I seem to want easier recipes that are delicious and fun to make. If that is how you are feeling as well, this one is for you. Enjoy!

I can’t wait to try this one!

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups white sugar
  • ¾ cup butter
  • ⅔ cup evaporated milk
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips
  • 1(7 ounce) jar marshmallow creme
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup crumbled chocolate sandwich cookies (such as Oreo)
  • 1 cup crushed chocolate sandwich cookies (such as Oreo)

Directions:

Step one: Line a 9 x 13“ baking dish with parchment paper set aside.

Step two: bring sugar, butter and evaporated milk to a boil in a heavy bottom saucepan, stirring constantly, cook and stir at a boil until mixture is smooth approximately 3 to 5 minutes.

Step three: remove the saucepan from heat. Mix in white chocolate chips and marshmallow cream until melted, then stir in vanilla. Fold in half cup crumbled cookies until just incorporated. Spread fudge into the prepared baking dish

Step four: sprinkle one cup crushed cookies evenly over the top. Press crushed cookies lightly into fudge. cool at room temperature until set then cut into small squares to serve.

Cooks note: try not to over mix after adding the crumbled cookies, or the fudge will lose its bright white color.
