Ingredients
For the Wings:
2 pounds split chicken wings
½ tablespoon avocado oil
1 tablespoon baking powder
½ teaspoon kosher sea salt
½ teaspoon Jane’s Krazy Mix-Up Seasoning – Chunky Garlic
½ teaspoon Jane’s Krazy Mix-Up Seasoning – Pepper
½ teaspoon Country Onion Herb seasoning (from Savory Spice, Birkdale)
¼ teaspoon paprika
½ to 1 teaspoon black garlic salt (from Savory Spice, Birkdale)
Garlic Parmesan Sauce:
½ cup high-quality butter, melted
4 cloves garlic, finely chopped or minced
Zest of 1 whole lemon
1 tablespoon chopped parsley
1 tablespoon chives (fresh or dried)
¼ to ½ cup grated parmesan cheese (plus extra for garnish)
½ to 1 tablespoon crushed red pepper flakes (to taste)
Dipping Sauce (Optional):
Caesar dressing or chunky blue cheese dressing
Directions
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
Prep the Wings: Pat wings dry thoroughly. Place in a large mixing bowl.
Season: In a separate bowl, combine avocado oil, baking powder, and all dry seasonings. Toss wings until evenly coated.
Bake: Arrange wings in a single layer on the baking sheet. Bake for 40–45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
Make the Sauce: In a bowl, combine garlic, lemon zest, parsley, and chives. Pour melted butter over the mixture and stir well.
Toss the Wings: Transfer cooked wings to a large bowl (or a heavy-duty plastic bag). Drizzle with garlic butter sauce, add parmesan, and toss until fully coated.
Serve: Plate the wings and top with extra parmesan. Serve with celery, carrots, and your favorite dressing.
Air Fryer Option
Cook wings at 400°F for 20 minutes, shaking halfway through, until crispy.
Pro Tip: You can always add more heat—but you can’t take it away. Start light on the red pepper flakes and build from there.
