I had the pleasure of joining my friends Barbara Broadway and Trudi Chaplan for lunch at Table 31. Trudi and I had never been there before and were totally impressed with the area, service and luncheon. I loved the front of the restaurant, with the comfortable and cozy seating and waiting area. When the weather is nice, that would be a great area to enjoy one of their specialty drinks. Our waitress, Julie Marble was very efficient and wanted no recognition but just to do her job and do it well.
We entered and asked for a table in a quiet space so we could all talk and hear each other. The restaurant was busy but the spacing of the tables was great and you didn’t feel on top of your neighbor. Because I have never been to Table 31 before, I went online and looked at their menu. That way I am a bit more confident in what they serve and what I would enjoy. I was not disappointed in my selection! I love Crab and Shrimp and wanted a salad. CRAB & SHRIMP LOUIE sliced avocado, ripe tomatoes, chopped egg, with 1000 Island dressing- was the perfect choice for me.
Barbara wanted fish and decided on the: CAJUN FISH SANDWICH brioche bun, house-made dill tartar, dressed greens and pickles.
Since Trudi had never been there before, she was undecided, but felt Chicken would be best for her.
They have such a wide verity of delicious dishes and HOUSE SPECIALTIES to say nothing about their HOUSE-MADE DESSERTS! For us we just asked for 3 “To go boxes” because their servings are large and delicious. Go and enjoy for lunch or dinner. A great place to be wined and dined!
