LKNConnect Operating System™: Appendix K — Client Onboarding Process

LKNConnect Operating System

Purpose

Provide the LKNConnect Strategist with a simple, consistent process for taking a potential client from the first conversation through activation of their LKNConnect Visibility Program.

STEP 1 — MEET THE POTENTIAL CLIENT

Learn about the business, why greater visibility is important, and what the potential client hopes to improve.

Do not sell or recommend products at this stage.

USE: K-1-F — Potential Client Meeting Form

STEP 2 — COMPLETE THE VISIBILITY AUDIT

Have the client complete the Automated Visibility Audit.

The system establishes the client’s Subjective Visibility Score and produces the Objective Visibility Audit Report and Score.

Schedule the Audit Review Meeting.

USE: Automated Visibility Audit System

STEP 3 — REVIEW THE OBJECTIVE AUDIT REPORT

Before meeting with the client, the Strategist reviews:

  • Subjective Visibility Score
  • Objective Visibility Score
  • Areas of strong visibility
  • Areas of weaker visibility
  • Important differences or questions

The Strategist does not change or rescore the Audit.

USE: Objective Visibility Audit Report

STEP 4 — REVIEW THE AUDIT WITH THE CLIENT

Meet with the client and use the Objective Visibility Audit Report as the starting point for the conversation.

Compare the Subjective Score with the Objective Score and identify the Visibility Gap.

Discuss the areas contributing to that Gap.

USE: Objective Visibility Audit Report

STEP 5 — IDENTIFY VISIBILITY OPPORTUNITIES

Identify the client’s priority Visibility Needs and recommend practical ways to address them.

Some recommendations may involve LKNConnect. Others may be actions the client can take independently.

USE: K-2-F — Visibility Recommendation Form

REFER TO: LKNConnect Client Visibility Playbook

STEP 6 — CLIENT SELECTS PRODUCTS & SERVICES

Present the LKNConnect products and services that relate to the identified Visibility Needs.

Explain the appropriate deliverables and approved pricing.

The client determines what they wish to select.

USE:

K-3-A — LKNConnect Product & Service Schedule

K-3-F — Product & Service Selection Form

LKNConnect Internal Fee Schedule

STEP 7 — COMPLETE THE APPROPRIATE LETTER OF AGREEMENT

Prepare the appropriate agreement based on what the client selected.

Confirm deliverables, investment, timing, responsibilities, and terms.

Obtain signatures and provide the client with a copy.

USE:

K-4-A — Client Visibility Letter of Agreement

OR, when applicable:

Appendix J — Sponsorship Letter of Agreement

Appendix J — Advertising Order / Letter of Agreement

Approved Production Services Agreement

STEP 8 — COLLECT MATERIALS & PAYMENT INFORMATION

Collect everything LKNConnect needs to begin.

Confirm payment arrangements and required client materials.

Ask:

“What is happening in your business during the next 90 days that people should know about?”

Record upcoming events, announcements, activities, and other potential Visibility Opportunities.

USE: K-4-F — Client Materials & Activation Form

STEP 9 — HAND OFF FOR IMPLEMENTATION

The Strategist provides the completed client package to the Chief Operating Officer.

The COO assigns responsibilities, schedules the work, distributes materials, and coordinates implementation.

The Strategist remains the client’s primary LKNConnect contact.

USE: K-5-F — Internal Client Handoff Checklist

Communication Flow

CLIENT ↔ STRATEGIST ↔ COO ↔ LKNCONNECT TEAM

STEP 10 — BEGIN THE 90-DAY VISIBILITY PLAN

The COO coordinates execution of the client’s approved Visibility Program.

The Strategist maintains the client relationship, communicates information in both directions, and remains alert for new Visibility Opportunities.

At the end of the 90-day period, review what worked, what was learned, and what should happen next.
