Joe Fish Casual Seafood is now my place to go! I was out shopping with a girlfriend and we wanted to get a quick bite to eat. We stopped at Joe Fish because who can resist New England style seafood? Tucked away in Port Village Shopping Center (on route 150 across from Lowe’s), it’s a bit hard to find, but it is worth the trip.
We chose the daily special which my British friend calls fish & chips, and Americans call deep-fried beer-battered fish with french fries, the day’s special was delicious. Click here to see their lunch menu.
Fried golden brown with the perfect crisp on the batter, the fish (haddock) was crispy on the outside and flaky on the inside. The fries were old-fashioned, seasoned only with salt. The coleslaw was creamy. Add in the refreshing glass of white wine and I was “happy as a clam!”
Although busy with the lunch crowd, the wait staff was pleasant and attentive. We didn’t wait any time for our drinks and lunch was out piping hot in no time at all. We were in and out in a little over 30 minutes.
After having such a delicious meal, I will definitely be back for date night with my husband. Click here to see their dinner menu.
