It was a pleasure to attend this special fund raising event “An evening for Dove House “ with old and new friends. It was an evening full of of amazing culinary delights, as several restaurants offered their specialties, I even ran into my friend and lknconnect.com colleague Brew Chef Tim!
The night had a great flow of food, real life gut wrenching stories of abuse but with amazing outcomes like Danni who was abused by her stepfather for 7 years growing. She lives a happy life these days working in law enforcement and her perpetrator is serving 30 years in prison.
The night continued with live auction hosted by the famous Larry Sprinkle ( wow great energy and great hair!)
Silent auctions were up next.( I’ll take the signed ac/dc guitar please!) and they ran into an evening ending in music and dancing!
Since I’m Cinderella I had to leave the Ball early and be in by the clock strike. But I was sure to hit the donut bar before running off to my carriage.
