What could be paw-sibly better? Than celebrating with an animal rescue that is full of heart this Saturday June 1st, from 11AM-4PM for Lake Norman Humane’s community day!
This event is for the entire family and supports the amazing cause of saving animals and rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming the pets in our community in need.
Get ready for a wild ride filled with bouncy houses, food and beer trucks, and groovy tunes courtesy of WHIP radio!
While onsite, you can take tours of the facility, visit the new rainbow bridge in the memorial garden, please feel free to bring momentos from your fur-babies who have crossed the rainbow bridge, so that we can remember them together.
Join us for an epic warehouse sale, meet adorable furry friends up for adoption, shop ’til you drop at various vendors, and much, much more!
Mooresville’s very own Mayor Chris Carney will be hanging out in the dunk dank from 12PM-1PM. But wait! There’s more, in Mooresville, you’ll have to stop by to see what other notable faces from the community take a turn in the dunk tank.
You can also meet the adorable animals looking for their forever home, just like this guy Handsome Hank. He is one of the residents of LKNH looking for his forever home.
Don’t forget, FeedNC will be there too with a list of items they need – let’s show our support! You can also pitch in by donating pet food to Lake Norman Humane’s pantry or human food to FeedNC who will also be onsite.
