I voted early
Just like the sticker says, it is not only possible, but it is infinitely more convenient to vote at one of the North Mecklenburg locations during the early voting period. Here’s where to vote early:
Cornelius Town Hall, 21445 Catawba Ave., Cornelius
Huntersville Town Hall, 101 Huntersville-Concord Rd., Huntersville
University City Old Pier 1, 8802 JW Clay Blvd., Charlotte

Early voting hours
Mon., Oct. 22-Fri., Oct. 26: 7am-7pm
Sat., Oct. 27: 10am-5pm
Sun., Oct. 28: 1-4pm
Mon., Oct. 29-Fri., Nov. 2: 7am-7pm
Sat., Nov. 3: 8am-1pm
It’s not too late; you can still register to vote
During the early voting period, you can register and vote at any one of the early voting locations. You will need to provide proof of residence. For the types of identification allowed, see Same Day Registration.

Sample ballots
The yellow sample ballots are available at voting locations, public libraries, and online. You can also find your district, your elected officials, and where you vote on Election Day. Enter your address and click Go.
On Election Day – Tue., Nov. 6
All registered voters must vote at their designated voting location. The polls will be open from 6:30am-7:30pm. You will not be able to register to vote on election day. New voters can register to vote during the early voting period only.
