Table 31 in Langtree (Mooresville, NC) is delightful!

As you know by now LKNConnect’s Margi Kyle and I love to go out to lunch! Usually we just have time for a quick lunch (click here for our reviews), but today, we had time for a treat — so we stopped at Table 31!

Table 31 is on Landings Dr., in Langtree, just off I-77, Exit 31.

Atmosphere

Whether you dine outside on their patio or inside at a booth or table, this restaurant is welcoming. The door is opened by a smiling hostess and even though it was 12:30 pm (prime lunch time), we were seated immediately.

If you come for dinner or just for a drink, there’s comfortable seating at the bar.
There are cozy corners for a lunchtime chat!

Adam, our server, had great suggestions for lunch!

Appetizers

Bring your appetite because you are going to want an appetizer, entrée AND dessert! Margi and I split the Local Burrata. Burrata is a semi-soft cheese made from mozzarella and cream, unlike fresh mozzarella which is usually sliced, this is a small ball that oozes delicious cream when cut.

Burrata served with buttered toast points, tomatoes, basil, arugula, and golden beets.

Entrées

It was such a lovely surprise to have our server remove our messy knives and forks and bring us clean silverware for our next course! Margi selected the Thai Chicken Salad and I chose the Chicken Sandwich. They have an extensive wine list and I paired my entrée with a refreshing glass of Oyster Bay Sauvignon Blanc.

I love avocado and this chicken sandwich is the best!

The chicken was grilled with just a hint of crispy on the edges, the cheese gooey, the avocado was ripe and soft, the tomato fresh, the arugula paired with the mayo was tangy, and the bun was toasted to perfection! (And the kale and quinoa salad is the best and tastiest way to add kale to your diet!!)

You MUST have Dessert

When I saw carrot cake drizzled with caramel sauce on the menu — it was a no-brainer. The cake was spiced, the frosting was cream cheese, it was topped with toasted coconut and then drizzled with caramel. AMAZING!!
