Mooresville Mayor Takes The Plunge for Pets

Lake Norman Humane celebrated the 5th anniversary of their facility at 2106 Charlotte Highway in Mooresville on Saturday. The full video of the event along with a few meet and greets with the residents of the rescue will be heading to Adopt Me TV later in the week.

If you’ve ever wondered how you can get involved with animal rescues, all it takes is a few hours in the week to volunteer and even be willing to answer the call for help.

Speaking of answering the call for help, Mayor Chris Carney is very serious when it comes to his pledge to volunteer within the community, he took a bold plunge for Lake Norman Humane

Be on the lookout for the full behind the scenes video and story of LKNH Community Day, and find out who dunked the Mayor first.

Saturday was a magical day for so many reasons, from the vendors to the neighbors meeting up to celebrate. For me the best part of the day was being on-hand for the adoption of one of our recently featured pets.

Stay tuned for this handsome fella’s adoption story coming to LKN Connect later this week.
