These dogs have claws, tender juicy ones and warm butter sauce!

Am I drooling or is that butter sauce dripping all over the place? No worries, you’re covered with your own roll of paper towels on your table. I love the fun atmosphere here and the cozy like-home feeling just like the kind you get when you’re at a good friend’s house. And did you know this is Lobster Dogs first year in the new building in Denver, expanding the franchise by adding to the already successful Food Truck Business? Yes! The fun is all over the place too with daily dining specials and live music many times during the week, not just weekends. Plus, fun events specifically tailored for the holidays. Chris the owner and founder of Lobster Dogs is here most days behind a counter or serving a beer or just plain stopping by your table to say hi!

The Ooey Gooey Grilled Cheese can bite too.

And I don’t mind saying I bite back! It was pretty hard to decide from so many mouthwatering things on the menu from Lobster Dogs or regular dogs with toppings to Stuffed Avocados! But “cheese” is a big foodie weakness for me so I opted for the Tribbiani Grilled Cheese loaded with Lobster seasoned and saucy and on the most perfectly grilled Texas toast, I mean .. Do I say anymore? I’m just in a lobster cheese brain fog as I’m devouring and licking my fingers!  (you can choose crab or shrimp also!)

Cowboy Boots and a Craft beer please.

Owner,  Chris Yelton and Debbie Amyotte

In my conversations with Chris, I learned it could be my lucky day. See, along the walls are several giant chalkboards with colorful chalk menus from the big variety of local craft beers they offer to the amazing mouthwatering food menu to a very unique and thoughtful “Pay it Forward” list. This is a list of people that patrons have purchased a beer for already. So, let’s say you’re a nurse and “NURSE” is written on the board, well you are welcome to have that beer which was paid for in advance by a prior customer. A fun twist to your typical “Pay it Forward”. So be sure to check out the board upon arrival, you might see “Dallas Cowboy Fan” or “Fireman” or “Someone in Cowboy Boots” (no kidding it was up there!) and so on. The board of course changes daily as patrons add and drink away. So stop on by and get a dog and a cold one and even add to that crazy fun list. Who knows, it could be your lucky day!
