September 28, 2019

Carolina Raptor Center

              September 29 – 8:00 am – 3:00 pm

Admission:  $60 Members/Volunteers; $100 General Public

Description:

This may be the only bird photography class where you get to practice with real birds waiting to grace your photographs!

This weekend photography experience is only offered twice a year by the Carolina Raptor Center. In addition to expert instruction, you will have an opportunity to photograph the stars of the Raptor Center collection both for portraits and in flight. The second day will include a nature walk lead by Joe Amodeo from the Carolina Raptor Center.

Wildlife and bird photography is a specialized form of photography that does require some special equipment and a few specialized skills. But it’s not that hard to get good results if you know what to practice and have a little patience. It’s not even that expensive to get started anymore!
