Allow me to tell you about an established place, Jason’s Deli.

Four years ago, LKNConnect embarked on its journey to support local businesses in the Lake Norman area. Among its founding members was my friend Chris Boutin. Through tireless dedication, we built a strong bond long before the onset of COVID-19. Chris, was often accompanied by his daughter Julia, and we became well acquainted during our numerous meetings. Meeting Chris’s wife, Ansley Boutin, only added to the joy of collaboration. Over the past four years, we have found fulfillment in supporting our community and aiding those in need.

From left to right: Ansley and Chris Boutin, Margi Kyle and Julia Boutin. Great friends and food. It was a great experience on a Sunday afternoon.

Recently, we decided to catch up, and Chris recommended that we meet at Jason’s Deli, a local treasure that has continued to flourish despite the trying times. We chose Jason’s because its selections can satisfy customers of all ages. From crisp salads to hearty sandwiches, its menu caters to all palates. And the ambiance? Whether you opt for indoor seating or prefer the warmth of the fire pit outdoors, you’re in for a delightful experience.

So, what did we order?

Chris loves their salad bar and that is what he got. He loved it so much he started eating it before we could get the picture taken-a very happy guest.
Birthday Girl, Julia loves her Chicken Alfredo Pasta with Garlic Focaccia Bread.
Ansley ordered the Chipotle Chicken and Avacado Panini Salsa with Chips.
For me, the Santa Fe Chicken sandwich with avocado and chips sounded great, and it was!

Saving the best for last!

I had forgotten the best part of the meal—FREE Ice Cream! Either a cup or cone of vanilla or chocolate ice cream is the icing on the cake! Go and see for yourself what a great deli Jason’s is. And it is in our own backyard!

As you can see, Jason’s has something for everyone: reasonable prices, attentive service, and mouthwatering fare. Upon arrival, the restaurant buzzed with laughter, and the aroma of delicious dishes wafted through the air. I suggest you may want to plan ahead by browsing their menu online. This proved beneficial. You can peruse their menu at www.jasonsdeli.com.

The service was prompt, and the food was so satisfying that we all departed with leftovers for dinner.

One final request from LKNConnect.com.

Let’s rally behind our local businesses that exemplify excellence in their offerings. What sets Jason’s apart? It’s simple:

  • Great food
  • Exceptional service
  • Inviting atmosphere
  • And let’s not forget the complimentary ice cream!

We look forward to seeing you there.
