Community Spotlight: Lake Norman’s Home Heart & Soul – Starts the Holiday Season off in Style!

Owner of Home Heart and Soul, Lori Savio and her sidekick, Enzo know how to throw a party.

From Champagne or a white mule with cranberries, you are usually greeted by Sonya Reid, The Store Manager and Enzo. As you enter Home Heart & Soul, it is overwhelmingly filled with unique and very different gift ideas. Beautiful furniture, clothing, jewelry, and a very helpful staff. Always changing and filled with new merchandise. A one stop shop that will be your best Retail therapy!

Sonya Reid keeps Enzo under control and I am here to collect Blankets for
Little Smiles

Lori and Sonya both have been big supporters of my Nonprofit – Little Smiles NC.

Little Smiles works through the nurses to get the kids what they want or need to put a little Smile on a sweet child’s face. The one item we can’t keep in stock are blankets. Lori decided once again to have her Holiday party along with a blanket drive for our kids. The hospitals are cold, and kids are scared. Blankets help settle them down and keep them warm.

We had a surprise visit from Mayor Woody Washam and his wife Sharon.

Woody is not a stranger to Home Heart & Soul. After he was born, Woody lived in this house. He supports Lori and Sharon shops here often. Both Woody and Sharon were on my Little Smiles Board from day one. Sharon is still very active and Woody as well as a volunteer.
