What is old can be new again to someone else- Here is where it can happen.
Having studied both Fashion Design and Interior Design, I have a passion for both. One of my favorite stores is Brand Name Consignment. It started over 30 years ago with Jackie Duncan as the founding owner. Jackie sold the Store to Mickie Jones who also owned Ashley Carol (Today, Ashley Carol is Home Heart and Soul in Cornelius). Lorraine Smith bought the Brand Name Consignment store in 2000.
Brand Name Consignment is truly a Ladies Upscale Designer Fashions store. Most of the consignment clothes still have the original tags on them. They carry Designer Clothes, sunglasses, purses, and shoes. The clothes need to be clean, on hangers and fitting to the approaching season. Make sure you call and make an appointment. They get very busy as the seasons change and the best number to call is, 704-896-0181. They are located in Downtown Cornelius, 21304 Catawba Ave. steps away from the Cain Center for the Arts.
When you enter the store, you are greeted by either Lorraine or Marsha Hurd. Marsha and I worked together for years in my design business. She was my Window Treatment go to person. Beautiful draperies and she knows fabric and fashion. Marsha is a great addition to the concept of selling upscale fashion.
The store is well laid out and clean. To say nothing of the well-dressed mannequins and other displays. Their clientele enjoys poking around to find the fair priced items to add to their wardrobe.

Lorraine is a native of Cornelius, NC as well the Owner of Brand Name Consignment for 35+ Years. Mother of 3 and Grandmother of 7! Brand Name is the OG Cornelius/LKN resell boutique.
