I Loved my time with Stephanie, having studied Fashion Design myself, talking about the trends, how people are feeling and how color can make them feel. Is fascinating to me. During out time together the other day, Dresses are definitely back in Style! For me, I loved long skirts but am not a dress fan. Find one that you do like and add it to your wardrobe. As we age, the shorter the length the worse it looks – at least on me.

Stephanie, in my case, recommended this look. A textured white cotton, that has style, comfort and detail.

Two other casual or dressy dresses were brought to my attention. Dress them up with Jewelry and heals or keep it classic and comfortable.

During our conversation, “Dressy Lounge Wear” was the tag for this look. As for color, Corals, Hot Pinks and Lime Green were the “In Colors”.

Coral and Hot Pink: Respect it! Coral gives you the self-respect to honor your individuality. Respecting yourself starts with appreciating those around you. Honor those around you. Honor those who love you and respect you, and you will gain the power to honor yourself. I need to wear a lot of that color.

Coral at its Finest!

Lime Green:  Question it! Lie green shades give you the stamina to question what is missing in your life. Ignite your passions by letting your inner voice speak. You will discover how you are yearning to feel. Questioning yourself gives you the power to know exactly what you need to do. All the color language comes from the Dewey Color System, Dewey Sadka.

“In Colors”

So, I asked the question – Where is Black?

Black will always be a huge part of Fashion and Home Furnishings. It is a staple and symbolic color. We have been isolated for 3 years from Covid, and need color to get us out and going again.

Just want Something Fun?

This top is for you!!!

I feel the best advice both Stephaney and I can give you is:

#1. If you want to blend in and not stand out in a crowd. Wear neutrals.

#2. You should have at least two fashion statement outfits in your closet. One, for a casual setting and one for a formal setting.

#3. Have a few pieces in the forecast colors for each season. It keeps you up to date and looking younger if you do keep up with some of the colors and fashions.

#4. If you want to conceal your body flows, don’t put color there. I have large hips and that is why I wear a lot of black pants. I put color on my tops to pull peoples eyes up and away from my hips.

#5. Wear colors you love and make you feel good. That is what color is supposed to do. Having a sleepy day- wear red. Want to daydream and have a restful day, wear blue. Want to feel nurtured and loved? Wear green. Want to nurture others and make them feel good- wear browns or teals. Want to get some facts and information, wear yellow.

#6. Lastly, go shopping with an open mind and eye wide open. When I don’t know what I want or am looking for. I just let my eyes do the shopping. Try a new look, color and fashion. It will give you the energy we have not had for way to long.

One last Note- Bring on the BLING!
