Businesses Adapting to the Crisis

1 min read

LKNConnect.com features an online Marketplace. Several of our vendors have retail locations in addition to online sales. Today we are featuring how two of them are responding and adapting their business to the current coronavirus crisis.

HempLily – Your CBD Oil Source

Terri Long, owner of HempLily, held the grand opening of her retail location in Cornelius on March 28, 2019. We asked her several questions about how she is adapting her business to the current crisis. Here are her responses:

Hours of operation

We are open normal hours, Tue-Sat 10am-6pm, as long as we are legally able. We hope our small store gets to stay open as a wellness provider. And we are not likely to have more than 10 people in the store at once.

How are you dealing with social distance and no contact?

Not much different.  Disinfecting the few places customers may touch like tables, bar, and checkout tablet. Personally, it’s tricky, I get cabin fever easily.  Miss eating out already.

Are you doing anything different?

HempLily always offers free delivery, so hoping to keep getting that word out on social media and through emails and texts to customers. I’m filling in at the store for one of my employees who can no longer work since she has to be home with children. Not a problem at all.

Incentive or discount programs

No incentives specifically for the social distancing period. We have an in-store rewards program, but if the customer calls or emails us for delivery, we will still give them their discounts. Online orders too. We always offer a free consult in the store or by phone and free delivery anywhere in the country.

Special note

We aren’t sure how long our supplies will last though, as our contracted supplier farm is not being very responsive right now.

Priority Comfort

Dan Stebbing, owner of Priority Comfort is one of LKNConnect’s Marketplace vendors. With over 30 years experience in the industry, they provide heating and air conditioning service.

Hours of operation

We are fully open and operational and available whenever you need us.

Special note

During this time when we are more tethered to our homes, don’t forget that indoor air quality is something that you can control and improve. At Priority Comfort we offer solutions for any indoor air issues from air purifiers, ERV’s, humidifiers and dehumidifiers and a large selection of thermostats to control these options.
