Yesterday was Memorial Day and as I was standing at the Memorial Day ceremony at Cornelius Town Hall, I was moved by how many people attended the service. It was one of the largest audiences in the history of these ceremonies at town hall. It was inspiring to be a part of a community that honors its members who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

In the spirit of giving and while we feel inspired by other people’s courage, I’m here to share with you the many ways, both big and small, that you can participate and support our community.

During 2020, we featured a different non-profit each month of the year. Since then we have featured tiny homes to prevent homelessness, animal shelters-rescues-foster homes, local civic organizations, and our finest individuals who are doing great work in the community.
