FEATURED NON PROFITS – Supporting the Lake Norman Community One Need at a Time!

LKNConnect shows you where you can help!

Yesterday was Memorial Day and as I was standing at the Memorial Day ceremony at Cornelius Town Hall, I was moved by how many people attended the service. It was one of the largest audiences in the history of these ceremonies at town hall. It was inspiring to be a part of a community that honors its members who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

Many ways to support our community

In the spirit of giving and while we feel inspired by other people’s courage, I’m here to share with you the many ways, both big and small, that you can participate and support our community.

LKNConnect’s featured non-profits

During 2020, we featured a different non-profit each month of the year. Since then we have featured tiny homes to prevent homelessness, animal shelters-rescues-foster homes, local civic organizations, and our finest individuals who are doing great work in the community.

Here are just a few of our featured non-profits. Click on the summary to read the full article. Click on the banner below to view our full listing of articles.
