Restaurant Reviews: Famous Toastery – Huntersville

Stuffed but not sleepy and raring to go!

The menu at Famous Toastery offered so many delicious items, I must admit I almost tried them all! It was a serious comfort food experience and I was pleasantly surprised to be not sleepy and I was raring to go with lots of energy to start my day.

The Breakfast Combo, sausage patties, biscuits, and gravy…

I started with the Breakfast Combo – scrambled eggs and French toast. I added spinach and cheddar cheese to the scrambled eggs and that was no problem. The eggs were fluffy and really delicious. With lots of spinach in it, it was great! The sausage patties were regular, not too spicy, just the way I like them.

You MUST try the fresh squeezed orange juice

They have a machine where you can see the oranges being squeezed. It tasted even better than it looked and it looked amazing. Good coffee too!

You can watch the orange juice being made!

Good gravy!!

I just had to try the biscuits and gravy. The gravy was plentiful, creamy and not too peppery. The biscuits were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.

Crispy, fluffy biscuits with creamy gravy.

Bright and cheery

This restaurant has a bright and cheery atmosphere with a good vibe for getting going in the morning. I was seated quickly, and the service was super great, even though they were busy. My waitress was funny and nice. She made the visit a pleasure. I would definitely go back again.

Bright cheery atmosphere.
