Restaurant Reviews: Patisserie Café – Mooresville

1 min read

Okay, I’ll confess …

I stopped here for the cupcake and THEN decided I should have some lunch to go with it!

I have been eating at the original location of Patisserie Café for many years now. (That’s not to say that I don’t eat at the Brawley School Rd location, it’s just that the one on N. Main St in Mooresville is closer to where I was running my errands today. Both locations have their own charm and both serve delicious food & pastries.)

It’s a great spot for a quick lunch …

When you’re out running errands and it’s well past noon and you’re seriously hungry. It’s also one of the best places to meet a friend for breakfast or lunch! They are one of the few places that make crepes that are sweet or savory!

The Cupcake!

It was a moist chocolate cupcake with yummy frosting decorated with jelly beans and just a bit of coconut flakes. It’s called Holiday Confetti!

Okay, I really did eat my lunch first!

Lunch was a beautiful savory crepe filled with falafel balls, tahini, lettuce, tomato, and onions. I love falafel and this is some of the best. I didn’t realize until I read the menu that it’s also vegan!

Easy to read digital menus

It’s quick and easy — whether you want breakfast or lunch or simply coffee or tea and a great pastry.

Casual atmosphere with plenty of tables including stools to sit by the window and watch the world go by.
Painted on their wall. This is a family business that makes you feel like family.

Delicious food, great service

Patti, Paola Mendoza (a daughter in this family-owned business) and Paytan are here to serve you with a smile!

I can’t resist tempting you with more photos of their delicious treats!

Tempting pastries
Macarons
Mini Tarts – Coconut Creme or Key Lime
Cake balls – a bite-sized piece of cake! You definitely can not stop at just one!

So, I hope the next time you’re out running errands in Mooresvile and feeling hungry, you’ll stop by!
