No day shall erase you

Freedom Tower

In 2018, I had the privilege to visit the National September 11 Memorial Museum in Manhattan, NY. It is an extraordinary and emotional experience. The museum does an excellent job of capturing the enormity of the tragedy and translating that into individual experiences.

Cornelius 9/11 Ceremony is closed to the public

The Cornelius Fire Department wants you to know that their traditional 9/11 ceremony today is private this year. They do encourage the public to visit the Cornelius Never Forget 9/11 Monument at your leisure throughout the weekend to quietly reflect and remember. Please remember to wear face coverings and maintain social distancing when you visit.
