As we approach Week 10 of the NFL season, making informed decisions about your fantasy football lineup is crucial. Frank Ober has you covered, offering key predictions and insights to help you navigate recent performances, matchups, and any late-breaking news that could impact player availability. Tailoring your decisions to your team’s specific needs and scoring format will be key to gaining an edge.
QB Dak Prescott will miss time so Cooper Rush will be starting at QB for the Dallas Cowboys. Rush has had success in the past; however, he may be missing WR CeeDee Lamb who is the only worthy play maker on the Cowboys. The Cowboys are in a free fall and trading for WR Jonathan Mingo from the Carolina Panthers does not change that. I am worried about the impact on PK Brandon Aubrey. At least he can kick FGs from beyond 50 yards if the Cowboys do not let the game get away from them.
RB Zach Moss has a neck injury that will keep him out for the regular season. His role has been diminishing in the Cincinnati Bengals offense, which makes Chase Brown a must start every week. The Bengals did trade for RB Khalil Herbert from the Chicago Bears as a replacement for Moss. He will be a solid backup and insurance if Brown should get injured.
The Pittsburgh Steelers traded for WR Mike Williams from the New York Jets. The Steelers needed to improve their WR group, and this move does that. I have never been a huge Mike Williams fan because of his inconsistent performance but he does provide another deep threat. His addition will help WR George Pickens and QB Russell Wilson.
There were two significant trades of defensive players. The Detroit Lions desperately needed to add a pass rusher after losing Aidan Hutchinson for the year. They filled his position by acquiring Za’Darius Smith from the Cleveland Browns. The Washington Commanders have struggled against the pass all season but acquired All-Pro CB Marshon Lattimore from the New Orleans Saints. These were both savvy moves by two teams with Super Bowl aspirations.
We knew the value of WR Tank Dell would increase with Stefon Diggs out for the year and Nico Collins injured. However, we did not know if any other Houston Texans WRs would step up. The answer is no. Neither Robert Woods, Xavier Hutchinson, nor John Metchie III did anything in week 9 to warrant roster consideration. The good news is that Nico Collins may return in week 10.
QB Joe Flacco and the entire Indianapolis Colts offense laid an egg in their loss on the road against the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings defense is extremely aggressive and complex under defensive coordinator Brian Flores. Therefore, I would not completely discount Colts players moving forward.

An important intra-division game. The Ravens struggle against the pass and QB Joe Burrow threw 5 TD passes in their first meeting, won by the Ravens by a FG. The Bengals had early success stopping the QB Lamar Jackson and RB Derrick Henry combination. Take the visitors with the points in a tough road matchup.
Detroit is currently the top team in the NFC. They can score running or throwing. The Texans are banged up and their interior offense line is in shambles. The Lions should easily cover the spread especially if WR Nico Collins is unable to play.
This should be a fun game to watch and potentially high scoring with WRs Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle of the Dolphins versus WRs Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp of the Rams. The Rams young defense is playing better. The key will be who has more success on the ground. Take the Rams who are fighting for a playoff spot.
