Traffic. Safety. Green space. What’s next for Cornelius?
The roads you drive, the parks you enjoy, and the community you call home are at the center of this episode of People in the Know with Margi Kyle.
Margi sits down with Denis Bilodeau, Mayor of Cornelius, for a conversation about the priorities shaping the town’s future. Bilodeau discusses road improvements, upcoming roundabouts, and his ongoing push to address congestion and safety on Bailey Road—where schools, cyclists, park visitors, and residents share a busy two-lane corridor.
They also explore public safety, parks and greenways, and the role commercial development could play in balancing the town’s tax base. Throughout the conversation, Bilodeau encourages residents to ask questions, share concerns, and take part in local government.
