Restaurant Reviews: Red Rocks Cafe – Birkdale Village

I love it when Sharon Washam calls and says Woody is out of town. Want to go shopping and dinner after?

Of course I would love to!

You may remember that has written about visits to Red Rocks Cafe several times in the past. You can see that it is one of our favorites. Now, let’s look at the most recent visit.

After taking advantage of all the sales at Chico’s, Sharon and I ventured over to Red Rocks Cafe, Owner Ron Herbert, had just called Woody and said he hadn’t seen him for a while. Woody let him know that Sharon and I were going there that night. I had forgotten how extensive their menu is. We ordered water and wine and mulled over all their many delicious choices. I have never been disappointed in their food, service and cozy table settings. The restaurant was busy but the spacing of the tables was great and you didn’t feel on top of your neighbor.

I hated Sharon didn’t find any new cloths but I made up for what she didn’t buy! My hair shows I tried on lots of clothes!

We were not terribly hungry and wanted something we love that wouldn’t be too much food.

Sharon loves soup and ordered Troy Maxwell’s She Crab Soup, along with an order of Ron Ron’s Shrimp. Lightly breaded corkscrew shrimp tossed in house made creamy chili garlic sauce- Delicious.

As for Me:

I decided to start with a small Austin Peyron’s Caesar Salad that was very tasty and the perfect size. Along with my favorite Ginger Baker Rust’s Calamari. Calamari steak, lightly breaded and fried, served with house made marinara sauce. My absolute favorite dish!

The service was terrific, dinner delicious and time for Dessert!

Of course, Sharon and I always get the Woody Washam’s Tuxedo Cake! Tonight, since Woody was out of town, we decided to try something new.

I know I have tried them all and they all are delicious! But I must say I still do truly love Woody Washam’s Tuxedo Cake! The one in the top left in the picture.
We ended up sharing the Chera Parduees Oreo Cheesecake.

Go and enjoy a Specialty Drink and Delicious Famous Meal!
