Dresslers celebrates 15 years and announces some changes

Dresslers famous Shrimp and Grits

Dresslers, a Lake Norman favorite for upscale dining, celebrated its 15th anniversary on September 22 with an announcement that it will make renovations—paint, carpet, furniture, and menu! Fear not, the halibut, calamari, and Mom’s cheesecake will most likely stay, a few items with go (we’ve heard the pork chop and the linguine), and some wonderful additions will be made.

Jon Dressler, who oversees Dresslers, Dogwood Southern Table, The Porter’s House, and Fin & Fino, is a recognized Charlotte and Lake Norman restaurant expert and any changes to the menu are sure to enhance an already fine culinary experience. I’m hoping a personal favorite, the Shrimp & Grits, make the cut!

Perfect lemon drop martini, served ice cold

In the heart of Birkdale, Dresslers features al fresco dining, an intimate bar, a large dining room, and a private dining area that is available for parties and special occasions. Many of the staff members have been there since they opened and are quick to recommend perfect wine complements for meals and customized entrees.

Or if you’re more of a spirits person, the bartender can make you a number of top-shelf offerings or recreate your favorite drink. Here’s one of our favorites.
