These events offer Lake Norman residents an opportunity to come together, express gratitude, and honor the contributions of those who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces.
Veterans Day, observed every November 11, is a day of profound gratitude in the United States, honoring the men and women who have served in the military. This day marks the anniversary of the armistice that ended World War I in 1918 and serves as a reminder of the sacrifices made by veterans across generations to secure the nation’s freedoms. In Lake Norman, towns come together to commemorate Veterans Day with events that pay tribute to veterans’ service, share community spirit, and reflect on the importance of freedom and peace.
