IN THE KITCHEN: Baked Brie Shells

Are you having a Post Election Party or Thanksgiving at your house?

This is my very favorite and I always have them on hand in the freezer, as my go to appetizer when unexpected guests stop by!

Anyone can put out cheese and crackers. Romance your selections of appetizers with the Brie Shells!

Trying to cut carbs? Take the Brie and put it in a small round cooking container and cover it with the Stonewall Kitchen roasted garlic/onion jam. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Let it stand for 30 minutes and serve with slices of apple. But for the Brie Shells- –

Just 3 ingredients

Ingredients:

Buy a box of frozen phyllo shells (Found in any grocery store, see photo above.)

1 jar, Stonewall Kitchen roasted garlic/onion jam. (This jam is wonderful on a lot of different things. We love it on chicken. You can find it in a specialty store or order from Amazon.com.)

1 wedge, Brie cheese

Instructions

Pre-heat your oven to 325F.

Spray a muffin tin, small size — typically 12 muffin spots, with any nonstick spray.

Place one shell in each spot.

Fill each shell with the garlic/onion jam. Cover with a piece of Brie cheese.

Bake for 8 to 10 minutes. Watch them because every oven is different, and you don’t want to burn them.

Take them out and serve.

Make lots because they go fast, and everyone loves them!
