The Guide to Nightlife in Lake Norman July 31 – August 3, 2025
- Guide to Nightlife in Lake Norman
Hidden away in the Target plaza in Huntersville is a real gem of a store. A friend of mine invited me to the Christmas Open House at The Perfect Home & Gift this past Saturday. And what a great find! Not only did I enjoy a piping hot cup of mulled cider, I thoroughly enjoyed my shopping experience.
The purpose of the open house was to give everyone a head start on their holiday decorating and shopping. From ornaments to table settings, there was a great selection.
Now that weddings are being held again, it’s important to buy that special AND unique gift. I love shopping and the gifts ranged from cute to elegant. There were also beautiful cards with lovely sentiments to go with any gift you pick out.
My friend and colleague, Margi Kyle, invited me to the open house this past Saturday. She had discovered the shop a few weeks ago and found the perfect outfit for holiday gatherings.
What can I say? From fabulous necklaces to funky earrings, there is something unique for you and for you to surprise someone with a great gift.
Even though the store was busy, Stephanie Rapp, the owner, makes the time to greet each customer and spend a little time making recommendations on the perfect gift for yourself or your special occasion.
She has a degree in Merchandise Management and a career in the corporate world. But, her dream came true on July 29, 2020, when she was able to purchase The Perfect Home & Gift.
Her shop has furniture, home decor, gifts and clothing. There are several local artisans featured. She makes an effort to buy American made goods in addition to the local items.
The Perfect Home & Gift is located in the Target plaza (closer to Kohl’s), 9755-A Sam Furr Rd., Huntersville, NC 28078. You can contact Stephanie Rapp at [email protected] or by calling the store at (980) 689-2350.
