Juicy pork smothered in creamy sour cream, zesty garlic, and sharp Dijon mustard, then crowned with crispy fried onions. One bite and you’ll wonder why you ever made plain pork chops!
Got a restless husband, energetic kid, or grandchild looking for action? Hand them the meat mallet and let them pound away—it’s stress relief and dinner prep all in one. Cooking every night doesn’t have to feel like a chore—make it fun, make it easy, and make it delicious. Worst case? You try something new. Best case? You’ll never go back to ordinary pork again!
Great frustration reliever! Your husband, kids, and grandkids can do it for you.
4 Boneless pork
1 Cup of sour cream
¼ Cup of Dijon Mustard
1 Tablespoon of black garlic salt or fresh garlic chopped finely.
1 teaspoon of ginger powder or fresh. Ginger is so good for us and adds that extra surprise kick to any meal.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Mix it all together and set it aside
I use boneless pork and pound it down with a meat tenderizer. Cover the meat with the sauce. Sprinkle the fried onions on top of the sauce on the meat.
Be creative and add more ingredience if you feel comfortable. I put in ginger this time for the first time and loved it.
PREHEAT THE OVEN AT 350 DEGREES FOR 10 MINUTES.
Put the pork on a cookie sheet and bake in the oven for about 35 minutes.
An easy side — Twisted Caesar Asian chopped salad kit
It has everything you need in it including chopped ginger. Delicious and a great addition to any meal!
While the pork is cooking, I found a wonderful Asian Caesar ready to eat salad:
Not enough food for you?
Add a baked sweet potato. I put the sweet potato on a piece of foil. Sprinkle olive oil over it and salt and pepper. Crumble the tin foil over it and bake it for an hour at 350. Sweet potatoes are always a great addition to any meal.
I try to shop just once a week and look at my calendar to see how many busy afternoons I have that week. There is nothing wrong with buying a fully cooked chicken and do a salad and baked potato. I also love breakfast for dinner once in a while. Cooking should be fun and a special family time.
Don’t stress over it and please share with us your favorite fast – food recipe. Email it to me at [email protected]. We would love to add you to our list of chefs.
