As we entered the store, at first it looked like a black and white color story. Stunning variations of the traditional color blocks and style. My eye went right to the black solid top with lace sleeves and the jeans with leather and lace on them. I normally don’t wear jeans but loved the fit and style of these. Glad to see the holes in the knees gone.
Blue means to “Dream it”. Wearing blue allows you to visualize. Expand our mind by concentrating on your future. Dream. You will gain the power of mental discipline, able to envision a more beautiful life.
Teal means to “Believe it”. Teal inspires you to believe in your wishes. Wish over and over until you believe in your capacity to accomplish your dreams.
Orange means to “Change it”. Orange makes positive change easier for you. It enables you to dissociate from what you expect from yourself to realize the clarity of a situation. You gain the power to eliminate or change the direction of dead-end situations and relationships.
Black means to “Realize it”. The Black vibrations soothe your emotions and allow you to focus on what you truly value. Taken from the Dewey Color System and Color Coordinator, Dewey Sadka. I am the executive director of the Dewey Color System.
Indigo means “Plan it”. Gives you enlightened perspectives to create successful plans. Become mentally fixed on each ingredient you might need to create your idea.

We all went around the store and selected what we might enjoy wearing and modeling. I loved my black top with gold and black stripe sleeves. Today- sleeves are becoming the main attraction in Fashion. Sharon loved her outfit as did Karen and Ronda.
Need color back into your life, go to Chico’s in Birkdale and see for yourself. It is back and we need to match our personalities to some new and fun color. From Fashion to your face. It was all there..
Let me introduce you to Demetrice Parson, an Independent Beauty Consultant for Mary Kay. During our fashion show Demetrice was giving tips and skin care product ideas for those that wanted it. I have always felt fashion starts with skin care, make-up, hair, posture, feet, shoes and then the finished outfit.
Demetrice was kind enough to share her before and after pictures after she made herself up. Looking beautiful, finished, and ready for what life has to offer or send her way.
