Dressing in a casual manner is what I do most of the time. However, I try to pick items that have design details to create visual interest. Just because I’m comfy doesn’t mean I don’t want to be stylish.
I’m a firm believer that your top can provide the foundation to any great outfit. If you think about when you see your friends (or strangers) out and about, you are probably most likely to notice the top they’re wearing over any other piece of clothing. And when an outfit is made up of basic staple pieces like jeans and white sneakers, a statement top can make it a whole look. And thankfully, now that Summer is here, there are so many gorgeous summer tops for us to choose from.
I also love neutral basic “ready -to-wear” pieces, I’m seriously ready to level up my collection of tops to include some more statement options.
