Dean & I wanted to try a hot dog cart and the opportunity arose in 2020, actually right as the pandemic started taking off. But even with the challenges presented we were able to start our business and we’re still going strong today. GG’s is named after my grandmother, Marjorie Morris aka Great Granny (GG). She loved hot dogs specifically chili, mustard and onion. On her 100th birthday she wanted a hot dog party and that’s what we did! Unfortunately she passed before she got to see my dream named after her takeoff but I think of her every time I serve. Our goal is to serve a fast good dog or brat and made your way! Our dogs are all beef Nathan and our brats are Johnsonville pork. Toppings consist of (at no extra charge): chili, homemade slaw, onions, kraut, relish, mustard, spicy mustard, ketchup, hot sauce and jalapeños. And our specialty topping that has really taken off and often requested is Pimento Cheese! And not just any pimento cheese but Penny’s Pimento Cheese which is the BEST and made by a friend! We love meeting the wonderful customers and sharing stories. And we are known by the kids for our free ring pops.
