Through our strategic partnership with the Lake Norman Citizen, local businesses now benefit from something powerful: a combined platform that delivers visibility, credibility, and real community relationships.
Visibility means businesses are consistently appearing where Lake Norman residents already spend their time—reading local news, exploring restaurants, planning weekend activities, and discovering new places to shop. Credibility comes from being featured on trusted community platforms that residents already rely on for information. And most importantly, these features help build authentic relationships between businesses and the people who live here.
One of our newest initiatives to support local businesses is our weekly community surveys. These surveys invite Lake Norman residents to vote for their favorite businesses in categories like places to eat, places to shop, and things to do around the lake. The goal isn’t just competition—it’s awareness.
Each Wednesday, a new category opens for voting, with community members sharing their favorites in the comments. Voting continues through Friday, and the winners are announced the following Wednesday.
Next week, the spotlight turns to Cornelius, as we ask the community to vote for their favorite restaurants.
