Energy & Healing Opportunities Are Everywhere!

Experiencing “tough” emotions (and situations) is a normal part of being human. Most of us go through challenging things that test our emotional resilience throughout life. Stress, anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) are also common. Luckily, energy and healing opportunities are everywhere.

Reiki is a versatile healing tool.  

Adding reiki to your healing toolkit can help you manage challenging situations without getting stuck. According to the National Library of Medicine, reiki relieves anxiety, burnout, stress, and depression.1 It’s also an approved treatment for veterans with PTSD.

This gentle Japanese energy technique is an active form of meditation that balances the energetic, physical, and intellectual bodies. It allows the body to relax and shift on multiple levels, including releasing trapped emotions. For many, it enables purpose and understanding on grief journeys, too.

Feel your emotions and honor the process.

Keeping tough emotions bottled up only delays the healing process. One of the healthiest heart expressions is crying, allowing all the feelings to flow through you. I’m honored to create a safe space for clients to feel (and process) grief, sorrow, and other challenging emotions. Recently, I also had the opportunity to treat myself as my own client, guiding myself through the beginning process of grief. Reiki self-care allowed tears, laughter, and memories to flow through me while I mourned the loss of a loved one.

Shift your perspective.

Reiki’s active meditation also creates space for perspective shifts. Instead of wondering, “Why is this happening to me?” you ask, “Why is this happening for me?” It’s one of the most powerful shifts you can add to your healing toolbox. Although we can’t stop difficult events from happening, we always have the opportunity to process and respond differently. With practice, this mindset adjustment becomes part of your daily outlook.

Open your heart to a balanced, blissful life.

Reiki opens our heart chakra, which helps us create space to consciously live from our hearts instead of being controlled by our emotions. Over time, we learn to trust our journey while offering ourselves grace and compassion. The more we practice self-compassion and self-trust, the easier it is to treat others with the same grace and compassion. Things that were utterly overwhelming before feel manageable. Ultimately, this open heart, paired with compassion, trust, and mindset shifts, leads to a (mostly) balanced, blissful life.
